Dr. Aya Tanaka

Dr. Aya Tanaka advises clients on market entry, regulatory compliance, and partnership strategies across East Asia, with particular depth in Japan and South Korea. She previously served as a trade policy specialist at the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) and later as a consultant for European firms expanding into the region. Aya holds a doctorate in Law from the University of Tokyo and is fluent in Japanese, German, and English. She joined Westbridge in 2024 and is based between Berlin and Tokyo.
